Centre Objectives
The Probation Service provides pre-sentence reports to the courts, supervision of offenders in the community, management of community service orders, and liaison and referral to local services and treatment agencies as required.
We are available to provide the labour and supervision for projects which are of benefit to the community in the Finglas /Ballymun areas. Contact the service through the general office tel. number.
The Probation Service provides anti-offending behaviour programmes, individual group and intensive probation. Under the Children’s Act, 2001 we are a key agency in the provision of family conferencing, and mentoring(family support) for young people who have come before the courts.
